Historical Use of Jade Egg
The use of
jade egg practice has evolved from ancient China to strengthen the vaginal
muscles and to improve the chi for longevity and vitality. For a time the secret practice of the jade
egg remained in the Royal Palace and was only taught to the queen and
concubines to please the king while making love. Those who have mastered the technique
experienced very good health, remaining young and bountiful, with sexual organs
in old age as tight and resilient as those of a young, unmarried lady. Originally, however, the jade egg exercise
and vaginal weight lifting has been used to improve physical and spiritual
health.
Through use
of the jade stone egg, one can strengthen and control the “Love” muscle. Use of the egg makes one aware of the movements
of the muscle groups that are within the vagina to practice control or the
voluntary as well as the many involuntary muscles in this area as well.
Care of Jade Egg
Feminine
hygiene is of upmost importance. Clean
the vaginal canal and egg before beginning practice. Boil the egg before first use. To boil the egg, place the egg in water and
bring the water to boiling point and remove from heat and allow the egg to cool
down. After the first use, simply
washing with a gentle soap or plain water is all that is necessary due to the
non-porous nature of the stone.
Due to the
nature of use for the stone, it is not advised to share the jade egg, nor is it
advised to use after the stone is damaged, chipped, or cracked.
Caution in Practicing the Egg
Exercises
1. 1. Relax
and center yourself with some deep (ovarian) breathing.
2. 2. Use
a natural non-petroleum based lubricant if necessary.
3. 3. If
a problem arises and the egg becomes stuck, relax and do not panic. Lie down and relax and the egg will come
out. It is suggested that beginners tie
a silk cord or un-waxed dental floss to the jade egg for easier removal.
There are
many exercises that can be mastered with the use of the jade egg including the
basic kegel exercises. All of which will
have the added benefit of practicing with the jade egg. Many resources are available to expound upon
the various practices and exercises for cultivation.

Help! Mine has been stuck for almost 24 hours. Usually it comes out easily when I squat in push, or when on the toilet, but this time, for some reason, it won't come out. Any help appreciated.
ReplyDeleteContinue to stay calm as I am sure tension plays a role in why the egg has not released. Usually relaxation is key. I am assuming that you dont have a string or cord to tug on so I suggest exercises such as jumping jacks, jump rope, dancing, belly laughing can bring the egg down. Please know that the egg has to come down as it has no other place to go. This has happened to me and the egg has come down for easy removal in my sleep. Good luck and keep us posted.
