Food for Thought: Does the Food Industry really use us as lab rats?

I find it interesting that so many are comfortable with loading our systems with chemicals.  Many of us are dining out of a laboratory.  This is much of the reason why so many suffer today.  Much of the so-called food out there is not REAL food at all.  Remember back in the day when going out to eat at a place even like Mickey D's was a special treat to be indulged only occassionally?  Now it is an everyday stop for a quick meal.  Drive down any street in America and the growing number of fast food, restaurant chains are astounding.  We are what we eat so why is it that so many don't seem to care enough to read the label of ingredients?  Have you checked lately?  If you haven't, I have come to learn to continue to check ingredients to even your old favorites.  Recipes and ingredients change over time, especially when it means cheaper ingredients and bigger profits.  Wow.  Grow your own food people, in the meantime, gather your food from
